A United Kingdom cupro-nickel 50 pence coin issued by the Royal Mint as part of the London 2012 sports collection, specifically the Boxing edition. The reverse design by Shane Abery features a pair of boxing gloves positioned centrally in a boxing ring, with the London 2012 Olympic logo at the top and the denomination 50 PENCE inscribed along the bottom edge. The coin is a seven-sided equilateral curve heptagon with a plain edge. It is housed in the original official colour-printed presentation card, which features teal and pink graphics and is inscribed London 2012 sports collection and Boxing, along with the official London 2012 logo in the bottom right corner.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting original luster. The presentation card shows minor wear, with slight rubbing and softening to the corners and edges.
