A United Kingdom 50 pence coin struck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic Games. This issue represents hockey from the 29-piece sports collection. The heptagonal cupro-nickel coin features the Hockey reverse design by Robert Evans and the official London 2012 logo. The obverse depicts the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin is contained within the original Royal Mint themed presentation card featuring official Olympic branding and geometric motifs.
Condition report:
Coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with full mint lustre and no visible abrasions or surface wear. The presentation card shows minor shelf wear at the corners and edges.
