A Russian TAL Newtonian reflector telescope manufactured by the Novosibirsk Instrument-Making Plant (NPZ) in 1998. The instrument features a white-painted metal optical tube assembly fitted with a side-mounted rack and pinion focuser and a matching finderscope. The set includes two black-painted cylindrical metal tubes which form the pillar mount components. It is housed in its original wooden transit crate with fitted polystyrene inserts and metal hardware. A black plastic dust cap is provided for the main aperture.
A metal plaque is fixed to the front of the wooden case which reads:

The lot includes a small white fabric bag containing accessories, likely eyepieces or filters.
Condition report:
The telescope is in good used condition. The white-painted optical tube shows minor surface scuffs, light scratches, and marks consistent with age and use. All mechanical adjustment knobs appear present and functional. The wooden transit case exhibits typical signs of wear including surface scratches, minor knocks to the edges, and some oxidation to the metal latches. The interior foam inserts are intact but show age-related yellowing. The optical clarity and mechanical precision have not been tested; the mirrors may require routine cleaning and collimation before use.
