A novelty commemorative banknote manufactured from gold-coloured polymer foil, themed around the Japanese anime and manga series Saint Seiya. The obverse displays the denomination 100,000,000 and 壱億円 (one hundred million yen) alongside the fictitious issuer markings 日本銀行券 (Nippon Ginko Ken) and 日本銀行 (Nippon Ginko). The primary vignette depicts the character Mu of Aries, a Gold Saint, positioned next to a zodiac wheel and the text Aries 03/21 – 04/19. The note features the fancy serial number LUCKY 7777777. The reverse includes the text NIPPON GINKO and GOLD SAINT, with vignettes showing the series protagonists and the goddess Athena. The Saint Seiya logo is present on both the obverse and reverse.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The note is in crisp, pristine condition with no visible folds, creases, or handling marks. The foil surface is bright and reflective.
