A silver-plated commemorative medallion issued in the UK to memorialise the life of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). This non-circulating commemorative piece features a proof-like finish and does not carry a denomination. The obverse depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II and the dates 1926 – 2022. The reverse displays the E II R royal cypher under a crown, encircled by a repeating circular inscription. The medallion is struck with a milled edge and is presented in a clear protective capsule within its original purple and white damask-patterned display card. The reverse of the card provides technical specifications and a barcode.

Condition report:
Uncirculated. The medallion is in as-issued condition with high reflective lustre and no visible surface marks or signs of handling. The presentation card is in excellent, well-preserved condition.
