An Isle of Man heptagonal 50 pence coin dated 2021, part of the Alice Through the Looking Glass series. The coin is struck in a silver-coloured metal with a proof-like finish, featuring mirrored fields and frosted devices. The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH II · ISLE OF MAN · 2021. The reverse features the characters Tweedledee and Tweedledum amidst heart and spade suit symbols, with the inscribed quote ‘There’s nothing to cry about!’ and the denomination 50 at the base. The coin has a plain edge and is housed in a fitted, clear octagonal plastic capsule.
Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition with no visible signs of wear or handling. The protective plastic capsule exhibits fine surface scratches on the exterior surfaces.
