A commemorative UK cupro-nickel Fifty Pence (50p) coin, part of the series issued in 2016 to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter. The heptagonal coin features a reverse design depicting the character Peter Rabbit, with the legends RABBIT and PETER struck along the upper and lower edges respectively. The coin is presented in a blue Change Checker protective card mount, which is printed with the inscriptions UNITED KINGDOM, 50p, and the Change Checker brand logo.
Condition report:
The coin exhibits surface toning and handling marks consistent with a circulated condition. The card mount shows minor shelf wear, including surface scuffs and rubbing to the edges.
