Lot 276: A Collection of International Banknotes Including VE, CU, NG, TZ, NP, TJ, and UG

This collection consists of several international banknotes from various countries, including issues from South America, Africa, and Asia. Prominent among the group are three Venezuelan Bolívares Soberanos notes dated 15 January 2018: a 50 Bolívares note (serial C83970059) featuring the portrait of Antonio José de Sucre, a 10 Bolívares note (serial E85790554) with Rafael Urdaneta, and a 2 Bolívares note (serial N85550020) depicting Josefa Camejo. The collection includes a Cuban 1 Peso note dated 2016 (serial GM-48 063695) with the portrait of José Martí, a Nigerian 10 Naira note featuring Alvan Ikoku, and a Tanzanian 1000 Shillingi note. Also present are a Nepalese 5 Rupee note depicting a yak and Mount Everest, a 1994 Tajikistan 1 Ruble note (serial AE 033282), a Mongolian 500 Tögrög note with a horseman, and a Ugandan 50 Shillings note. The notes feature a multi-coloured palette and various security features such as holographic foil strips on the higher denomination Venezuelan notes, security threads, and watermarks.
