Produced by the Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung (LEV) mint, the obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with inscriptions reading SOLOMON ISLANDS, HALF DOLLAR, and 2,5 g FINE SILVER 999. The LEV mint mark is visible within a diamond at the lower edge. The reverse commemorates the 25th anniversary of German reunification, featuring a relief depiction of the Berlin skyline including the Brandenburg Gate, Fernsehturm, and Reichstag building. It is inscribed BERLIN and 2015, with a laurel wreath containing the number 25. A small globe motif is situated in the upper left corner.
