This collection comprises banknotes from a diverse range of international issuers. Notable pieces include a US novelty One Million Dollars note featuring the Statue of Liberty (Serial C34387297A); a Zimbabwe 200,000 Dollars Bearer Cheque dated 1st July 2007 (Serial AT1750582); and a Venezuela 5 Bolivares dated 15 de Enero de 2018 (Serial D39297113) featuring a portrait of Simon Bolivar. The group also contains a mid-20th-century Guinea 500 Francs note dated 1er Mars 1960 (Serial AM393206) with a female portrait; a Seychelles issue (Serial AH428723) depicting a coco de mer palm; and a Banque Centrale du Congo 100 Cent Francs (Serial MC 7082851 U) featuring an elephant. Additional banknotes from Uzbekistan (200 Sum Serial CB0293842 and 500 Sum Serial JU7752960), Egypt (50 Piastres with Pharaoh vignette and 20 Pounds dated 1977 with Sphinx vignette), Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1000 Dinara and 100 Dinara), and Israel (1 Shekel) are present. The notes are printed on paper and display a variety of multicoloured designs.


Condition report:

Condition varies across the collection. The Venezuela, Seychelles, and Guinea 500 Francs notes appear to be in Uncirculated to About Uncirculated condition, retaining crisp paper and sharp corners with no visible handling marks. The Zimbabwe bearer cheque and older Egyptian notes show signs of circulation, including soft vertical and horizontal centre folds, light edge wear, and minor creasing. The Yugoslavian and Congolese notes appear to be in Very Fine to Extremely Fine condition with some evidence of handling and minor corner softening.
