A Junghans mechanical mantel clock housed in a dark-stained wooden case of architectural form. The case features a shaped pediment with a central carved fan motif, flanked by fluted pilasters and resting on a stepped plinth base with block feet. The circular cream-coloured dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers with red fleur-de-lis accents at the five-minute intervals. The Junghans crossed-arrows trademark is printed between the two winding apertures. The clock has ornate black hands, including an hour hand with a fleur-de-lis design. Internally, the clock contains an eight-day striking movement that strikes on a circular coiled wire gong.

Condition report:
The wooden case exhibits surface wear including scuffs, scratches, and small chips to the extremities and feet. The dial has a yellowish patina and areas of discolouration. The brass bezel shows signs of tarnishing. The mechanical movement is untested; the pendulum is currently detached and resting at the base of the interior. No winding key is included.
