A square occasional table featuring a solid marble top with a bullnose edge, displaying cream and peach tones with grey veining. The painted wood and composition frame is finished with a heavy cream crackle glaze. The apron is decorated with high-relief carvings of roses and foliage, finished in polychrome colours. The table is supported by four tapered legs with gadrooned shoulders and decorative collars above the feet.
Condition report:
The table features an intentional distressed crackle finish throughout. There are visible chips and losses to the paint and composition on the floral carvings. The marble top shows numerous fine surface scratches and minor pitting consistent with age and use. Significant wear and darkening of the finish are present on the lower sections of the legs and feet. Some flaking of the crackle finish is present along the sharp edges of the apron.
