A collection of eight pre-decimalisation proof coins and a square copper-alloy medallion issued by the Royal Mint, UK. The set comprises a cupro-nickel Half Crown, Florin (Two Shillings), two Shillings featuring separate English and Scottish crest designs, and a Sixpence, alongside a nickel-brass Threepence, and bronze Penny and Half Penny coins. All pieces are dated 1970 and exhibit a brilliant proof finish with reflective, mirrored fields and frosted details. A square medallion is included, inscribed with the Royal Coat of Arms and the legend ROYAL MINT. The items are housed in the original purple leatherette presentation folder, which is gold-stamped with the inscription COINAGE OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND 1970. This set represents the final year of issue for the pre-decimal sterling coinage.

Uncirculated proof condition. The coins show brilliant mirrored fields and sharp details with no evidence of toning, wear, or environmental damage. The presentation case remains in excellent condition.
