A Royal Grafton fine bone china tea service in the Majestic pattern, featuring a classic white ground decorated with a wide maroon border. The border is overlaid with a repeating geometric gold pattern of interlocking diamonds, positioned above a continuous band of gilded filigree-style motifs. The handles, rims, and teapot spout are finished with gold gilding. The base of the pieces bears a printed backstamp in black and gold for Royal Grafton, featuring a crown symbol and the pattern name Majestic. Additional marks include a small hand-painted 9 in gold and a red brush mark. The service comprises one oval serving platter, one teapot with a matching lid, one cream jug, six teacups, six saucers, and six side plates.

Condition report:
The set is in very good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs. The gold gilding remains bright across the set, with only very minor surface rubbing noted on the upper rim of the teapot body. The glaze remains clear and reflective on all pieces, and the interiors of the cream jug and teapot are clean.
