A novelty set of playing cards manufactured from plastic plated with 24 carat gold foil, stated to be 99.9% pure. The cards feature a design replicating the US Series 2009 one hundred dollar banknote, featuring the portrait of Benjamin Franklin, the Federal Reserve seal, and facsimile signatures. The set is housed in a black lacquered rectangular presentation case with a red fabric-lined interior. The lid of the box is inscribed with Gold Playing Cards and 999.9 in gold-coloured lettering. The set includes a matching gold-coloured Certificate of Authenticity specifying the gold purity and bearing report number KI/2011/C0359.
Condition report:
The playing cards and certificate appear to be in uncirculated condition with no visible surface wear or creasing. The black lacquered presentation box exhibits light surface scuffing and handling marks, including a small red nick on the front right edge of the lid. The hinges and interior lining remain intact and functional.
