Lot 166: A Collection of Lledo Days Gone and Vanguards Boxed Die-cast Model Vehicles

This collection features an assortment of vintage-style die-cast model vehicles primarily manufactured by Lledo. The lot includes one Lledo ten-piece presentation set with promotional liveries for various spirits and wine brands, including J&B Brooks Rare Scotch Whisky, Malibu Caribbean White Rum, Archer’s Peach County Schnapps, London Dry Gin, Le Piat d’Or, Smirnoff Vodka, Drambuie, Gilbey’s Gin, Blue Nun, and Croft Original. The set is housed in a red cardboard presentation box with a pictorial inner flap showing a black and white photograph of distillery workers with barrels bearing the marks W.A. Gilbey Ltd, Glenlivet, and the date 1968. Also included is one Vanguards limited edition Austin A40 Van in Thames Valley livery, one Lledo Exchange and Mart horse-drawn delivery wagon with its specific red and black window box marked Every Thursday since 1868, and two individual Lledo Days Gone vehicles in original window boxes, one featuring Taunton Cider livery and a white and yellow van labelled The Bygone Days of Road Transport Recaptured for you to Collect. The models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components.
