A vintage drinkware set consisting of one large pitcher and nine stemmed glasses, all crafted from clear glass with ornate gold-gilt embellishments. The pitcher is of a bulbous form featuring a pedestal base and a large pulled handle. It is decorated with a wide, heavy gold-gilt band at the rim and a narrower gold band encircling the midpoint of the body. Each glass has a tapering bowl with a matching wide gold-gilt rim, set on a short stem with a central knop and a flat circular foot. The gilt bands on all pieces feature a repeating embossed scrolling pattern. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
The set is in good condition overall. The glass is clear with no signs of cloudiness or sickness. There are no observable chips, cracks, or repairs to the rims or bases. The gold-gilt decoration is well-preserved and retains a bright lustre, showing only minor, age-appropriate surface wear. Some surface dust and fingerprints are present.
