Lot 140: A Collection of Two Royal Doulton Bone China Floral Posy Ornaments and Six Porcelain Souvenir Thimbles

A collection of English bone china decorative items. The lot features two Royal Doulton floral-encrusted posy ornaments, including a large flared pitcher-form vase and a novelty rabbit-head ornament with gilt accents to the eyes and ears. Both pieces are decorated with intricate hand-modelled flowers including roses in shades of yellow and pink, a large pink-edged anemone, bluebells, and a yellow pansy. Also included is a set of six porcelain souvenir thimbles with various transfer-printed decorations, depicting a map of the Solent area including Gosport, Ryde, and Spithead; a simple floral sprig; the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) emblem; the comedy duo Laurel and Hardy; a Cornish Pasty illustration; and a rural landscape scene.
