A 1986 United Kingdom one pound (£1) coin, issued by the Royal Mint as part of the regional series for Northern Ireland. The coin is struck in nickel-brass with a Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The reverse features the Northern Ireland Flax design by Leslie Durbin, depicting a flax plant encircled by a royal diadem, with the inscription ONE POUND. The coin is housed in its original illustrated Royal Mint presentation folder, which includes imagery of the Giant’s Causeway and flax flowers alongside descriptive text.
Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. The coin retains full original mint lustre and shows no evidence of circulation or significant surface marks. The original presentation folder is in a good state of preservation with minimal wear to the edges and corners.
