A United Kingdom commemorative Two Pound (£2) coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark the London 2012 Olympic Games Handover to Rio. The specimen is a bimetallic strike featuring a yellow nickel-brass outer ring and a silver-coloured cupro-nickel inner core. The reverse features the Handover to Rio design, while the obverse bears the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is housed in its original Royal Mint presentation folder, which displays a night-time aerial photograph of the Olympic Stadium and official London 2012 branding.
Condition report:
The coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, retaining full original mint lustre with no signs of wear or circulation marks. The presentation folder is intact and well-preserved; the outer clear plastic protective sleeve exhibits light surface scuffing and minor dust consistent with storage.
