A collection of UK cupro-nickel commemorative five-shilling crowns issued by the Royal Mint. The assembly consists of 1951 Festival of Britain crowns and 1953 Coronation crowns. The 1951 coins feature the George VI equestrian obverse and St. George and Dragon reverse. Two 1951 crowns are presented in their original Royal Mint boxes, one in maroon and one in green, with gold-blocked lettering. A contemporary Festival of Britain 1951 paper information leaflet is included. The 1953 coins feature the Elizabeth II equestrian obverse and cruciform shields reverse. Several coins are housed in individual square plastic cases.

Condition report:

Uncirculated. The coins exhibit varying degrees of original mint lustre and natural golden-brown toning. The original presentation boxes and paper leaflet show minor signs of handling and age-related wear.
