The surrounding design includes a mountainous landscape, a butterfly, and the motto Judge righteously. Text on the note includes IDAHO Goldback Negotiable Instrument and the denomination ONE FOURTH. It is inscribed with the vertical serial number AL13081 and US Patent 10781520. A technical specification box at the bottom states that the note contains 1/4000th troy ounce of 24 carat gold and is payable by Goldback Inc. in US gold coin to bearer on demand.
