The obverse features the Jubilee Head portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing a small crown and veil, with the legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. The reverse displays a crowned spade-shaped shield of arms within a Garter bearing the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, surrounded by a decorative border of roses, shamrocks, and thistles. The reverse legend is inscribed BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: 1887. This coin features a reeded edge.
