This lot comprises a collection of vintage cameras and photographic equipment primarily from the mid-to-late 20th century. Included is a Halina 35X 35mm film camera featuring a chrome-finished metal top and bottom plate with a black textured leatherette-covered body. The camera is fitted with a fixed Halina Anastigmat 1:3.5 f=45mm lens and comes with a brown stitched leather ever-ready case embossed with the Halina name. Also included is a Polaroid 340 AF compact autofocus 35mm camera in a silver-toned plastic body, featuring a built-in electronic flash. A boxed Halina 110 RB/MT pocket camera is present in its original retail packaging; the box indicates features including standard and telephoto lenses, an electronic flash, and a motor drive. Photographic accessories include a Photopia selenium cell light meter in a brown leather case with ASA and DIN scales, and a Japanese-made West Hyper B II unit with a red and white circular dial. Two additional soft-sided protective cases are provided in black and light green.
Condition report:
The items show various levels of surface wear, oxidation, and age-related scuffing consistent with period equipment. The Halina 35X shows minor surface oxidation and wear to the leather case strap. The Polaroid camera appears in good cosmetic condition with minimal signs of use. The retail box for the 110 camera shows shelf wear and creasing. All items are sold as-found and have not been tested. Mechanical and electronic functions, including shutters, motor drives, light meters, and flash units, have not been checked for accuracy or operation. Lens elements have not been internally inspected for fungus or haze.
