This pendant necklace is crafted from 925 silver and designed in the Viking revival style. The pendant comprises a cast openwork frame featuring interlaced zoomorphic forms, displaying characteristic elements of 11th-century Urnes style aesthetics. The design consists of winding, ribbon-like creatures woven together into a complex knotwork pattern. The reverse of the pendant is stamped with the numerical mark 925 alongside an indistinct circular hallmark. The pendant is suspended from a fine curb link chain.

Condition report:
The necklace is in good condition. There is visible tarnish and natural oxidation within the recessed parts of the cast design, which is typical for silver jewellery of this type. The chain and bail appear to be in sound functional order.
