A Queen Anne revival style coffee table featuring a rectangular top finished with a highly figured burr walnut veneer. The top is set within a serpentine border with carved foliate detailing and is protected by an inset pane of glass. The shaped apron is supported by four cabriole legs, each with carved acanthus leaf motifs at the knees and terminating in pad feet. The frame is constructed from a stained hardwood, and the underside shows corner block construction. No manufacturer marks or labels are present.

Condition report:
The inset glass top shows light surface scratches consistent with use. The burr walnut veneer beneath the glass exhibits fine crazing and age-related cracking to the lacquer finish. There is visible wear and rubbing to the finish on the high points of the carved edges and the knees of the legs. General minor surface scuffs, small dings, and finish losses are present throughout the legs and apron, commensurate with age and domestic use.
