A clear glass vessel featuring a wide, shallow coupe-style bowl with a deep central well, supported by a slender clear stem and a flat, circular foot. The piece is decorated with a festive motif depicting holly leaves and berries. The decoration is applied using a hand-painted enamel technique, with translucent red and green pigments enclosed within raised gold-tone outliners, creating a faux-stained-glass appearance. The holly pattern is repeated around the exterior of the bowl and on the upper surface of the base. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The item is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations to the glass. The hand-painted enamel and gold-tone outliner remain well-preserved with no significant loss or wear noted.
