An Australian Aboriginal didgeridoo of hollowed wood construction. The instrument features a hand-moulded mouthpiece formed from a collar of natural beeswax. The exterior surface is decorated with extensive hand-painted polychrome dot work in a traditional palette of ochre-toned pigments, including red, yellow, brown, white, and black. The design comprises several concentric circular motifs connected by undulating lines, set against a background of dense dot patterning. The ends of the instrument are finished with solid bands of dark brown pigment. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or labels on the body.

Condition report:
The didgeridoo is in good overall condition. The wooden body appears structurally sound with no significant cracks or splits visible in the photographs. The painted decoration is largely intact and remains vibrant, showing only minor superficial scuffs and shelf-wear consistent with age. The beeswax mouthpiece exhibits characteristic moulding and slight discolouration from use and handling.
