A Chinese cloisonne enamel lidded vessel, identifiable as a cremation urn, featuring intricate brass wirework on a metal base. The exterior is decorated with butterflies in polychrome enamels including shades of blue, yellow, and red, interspersed with large pink roses. The motifs are set against a white enamel ground containing a repeating gilt wire cloud pattern. The vessel is of ovoid form with a high shoulder and a tapering body, topped with a domed lid and finished with a polished gold-toned metal rim.
