This polymer issue was produced to mark the Year 2000 millennium, featuring a ghosted 2000 numeral in the central field. The note bears the serial number MM0742026, printed vertically in black on the left and horizontally in red on the lower right. The face of the note is signed by the Chief Executive, Don Price. The design is predominantly blue and green, highlighted by a large white starburst motif on the lower right and a hexagonal holographic foil patch on the upper left. Security features include a clear circular window containing a multi-coloured geometric globe design, along with microprinted text reading NORTHERNBANKFIVEPOUNDS repeated around the central denomination. Uncirculated condition. The banknote exhibits crisp paper quality, sharp corners, and no visible folds, tears, pinholes, or stains. Centering is well-balanced across all margins. Presented in a plastic currency sleeve.
