Buyer's Premium:

A collection of UK coinage in various base metals including cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and bronze. The group features a 1977 cupro-nickel crown commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, with a reverse design depicting the coronation ampulla and anointing spoon surrounded by floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The collection contains heptagonal cupro-nickel 50 pence coins celebrating the entry of the United Kingdom into the European Economic Community, featuring nine hands joined in a circle, and a cupro-nickel 50 pence coin commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Also present are commemorative nickel-brass two pound coins: a 1986 issue for the Commonwealth Games in Scotland with a thistle and laurel wreath design, and a 1989 Tercentenary of the Bill of Rights issue showing a royal crown above the intertwined W and M monogram of William and Mary. A 1967 bronze half penny featuring the Golden Hind completes the group.

Condition report:

The coins range in condition from circulated to about uncirculated. Most pieces exhibit light surface marks, minor contact nicks, and varying degrees of original lustre. The 1967 bronze half penny shows characteristic brown toning. The 1977 crown and 50 pence pieces show light surface scratches consistent with storage or light circulation. No professional grading is present.
