Buyer's Premium:

UK Queen Victoria silver Crown, dated 1844. Obverse features the Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria by William Wyon, with the hair bound by a double fillet. The Latin inscription reads VICTORIA DEI GRATIA with the date 1844 below the truncation. The reverse displays a crowned, quartered shield of the Royal Arms within a laurel wreath, tied at the base with a ribbon and decorated with a rose, thistle, and shamrock motif. The legend reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:. Struck in .925 sterling silver. Catalog reference KM# 741.

Condition report:

Circulated condition. Moderate wear is evident on the high points of the portrait, specifically the hair and bun, as well as the central elements of the shield on the reverse. The coin exhibits a grey-toned patina with darker patination around the legends and rim denticles. Minor surface marks and contact scratches are present, consistent with circulation. No major edge knocks are visible from the obverse or reverse perspectives.
