A set of brilliant uncirculated definitive coins issued by The Royal Mint for the year 2025. The collection comprises eight denominations: 1 penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, 1 pound, and 2 pounds. These coins feature the definitive reverse designs introduced for the reign of King Charles III, including the hazel dormouse (1p), red squirrel (2p), oak leaves (5p), capercaillie (10p), puffin (20p), Atlantic salmon (50p), bees (£1), and national floral emblems (£2). Each coin features the official coinage portrait of King Charles III on the obverse. The 1p and 2p coins are copper-plated steel, the 5p, 10p, 20p, and 50p coins are cupro-nickel, and the £1 and £2 denominations are bi-metallic with gold-coloured outer rings and silver-coloured centres. The set is presented in its original cream-coloured commemorative folder with printed inscriptions including 2025 UNITED KINGDOM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED DEFINITIVE COIN SET and THE ROYAL MINT THE ORIGINAL MAKER.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued, displaying full mint lustre with no visible signs of wear, handling, or toning. The original presentation packaging is in excellent state.
