The reverse is stamped with the refiner name Heraeus and a circular hallmark for Heraeus Edelmetalle GmbH, Hanau, surrounding a central H and floral motif. Below the hallmark, the bar is inscribed 1 Unze Feinsilber 999. The item is housed in its original red velvet-lined presentation case and includes a descriptive insert from Commerzbank providing historical context for the Gütersloh motif and confirming the technical specifications of 999/1000 fineness. No serial number is present.
