A UK Queen Victoria sterling silver one shilling coin dated 1873. The obverse features the Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria. The reverse displays the denomination One Shilling in two lines, surrounded by a wreath of oak and olive branches and surmounted by a crown. This variety includes a visible die number 63 located just above the date on the reverse. The coin is composed of .925 fineness silver and features a milled edge. Catalogued under reference KM# 734.3.


Condition report:

The coin is in a circulated state, graded approximately as Fine. Significant wear is visible on the high points of the portrait and the leaves of the wreath. Dark toning has accumulated around the legends and within the recessed areas of the design. Minor surface marks and scratches are present, consistent with age and period of circulation.
