Buyer's Premium:

A pair of two-pound commemorative coins. The first is an Isle of Man bi-metallic issue, dated c. 1998, composed of a nickel-brass outer ring and a cupro-nickel centre. The reverse features the Three Cars design within a laurel border. The second is a UK nickel-brass coin, dated 1989, commemorating the Tercentenary of the Bill of Rights. The reverse depicts the Bill of Rights design with the intertwined cypher of William and Mary, a royal crown, and a ceremonial mace. Both specimens are standard circulation strikes.


Condition report:

Both coins are in circulated condition. The surfaces exhibit moderate wear, contact marks, and light scratches consistent with time in circulation. The 1989 coin features a prominent horizontal scratch across the reverse field. Minor toning and surface debris are present on both pieces.
