Buyer's Premium:

A collection of British pre-decimal coinage comprising multiple dodecagonal nickel-brass threepence pieces and several larger circular copper-alloy coins. The threepences include issues from the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. Visible dates on these coins include 1941, 1943, 1960, 1961, and 1963. The George VI coins feature the thrift plant reverse and the obverse legend GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP. The Elizabeth II coins feature the crowned Tudor portcullis reverse and the obverse legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F:D+. The larger circular coins are heavily patinated, with one identifying feature being the seated figure of Britannia, characteristic of British pennies or halfpennies.

Condition report:

The coins are in circulated condition, showing varying degrees of surface wear, edge knocks, and scratches. The nickel-brass threepence pieces exhibit some toning and tarnish. The larger copper coins are heavily oxidised with a dark, thick patina and significant loss of detail to the high points of the design.
