A 2015 silver bullion 50 cents coin issued by the Perth Mint, Australia. Part of the Lunar Series II, this piece commemorates the Year of the Goat. The coin is struck in one-half ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1/2oz 999 SILVER, 2015, and 50 CENTS. The reverse features the Year of the Goat design accompanied by the P mint mark and the Chinese character for goat. The coin is presented in a clear acrylic capsule.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin retains strong original luster in the fields. The obverse portrait exhibits significant dark toning. The reverse remains bright and free of noticeable blemishes.
