A United Kingdom commemorative silver proof crown (five pounds) dated 2005, issued by the Royal Mint to mark the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The reverse design by James Butler depicts the Nelson-era ships HMS Victory and the French flagship Bucentaure with inscriptions TRAFALGAR and dates 1805 and 2005. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The item is presented in its original Royal Mint blue velvet-lined presentation box with an accompanying illustrated descriptive booklet.
