A rectangular silver bullion coin bar issued by the Solomon Islands as part of the Silver Landmarks series. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, indicated by the initials IRB. This side is inscribed with the issuing authority SOLOMON ISLANDS, the denomination HALF DOLLAR, the weight and purity 2.5 g FINE SILVER 999, and a diamond-shaped mint mark containing the letters LFV for the refiner Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung. The reverse depicts a frosted relief of a London cityscape including Tower Bridge with its bascules open, the London Eye, and the Elizabeth Tower. Additional motifs include a globe in the upper left and the inscriptions LONDON and 2014.
