The coin is struck in 999 Ag fine silver and features a reverse design by Norman Sillman depicting the Welsh dragon and the inscription TWENTY POUNDS. The obverse bears the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The coin is housed in its original Royal Mint illustrated card packaging within a clear protective plastic sleeve.
