A three-piece suite of heavy cut lead crystal barware consisting of two mallet-form decanters and a matching ice bucket. Each piece features a traditional geometric cutting pattern comprising a wide lower band of deep-cut criss-cross diamonds surmounted by vertical fan or lanceolate motifs. The decanters are fitted with original elongated ovoid stoppers featuring vertical faceted ribbing. The tapered ice bucket includes two integral flat lug handles at the rim and a multi-point star-cut base. The glass is heavy lead crystal with high clarity and sharp, precise cutting. No maker’s marks, acid-etched signatures, or labels are visible. The pattern is in the style of the Lismore design by Waterford.
Condition report:
The suite is in generally good condition. One decanter shows some internal cloudiness and residue in the neck. No major chips or cracks are visible. There is some light surface wear and occasional minor flea-bites to the sharper edges of the cut decoration, consistent with age and use.
