Struck in .999 fine silver, the obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, COOK ISLANDS, 1 DOLLAR, and 2012. The small initials IRB are visible at the base of the portrait’s neck. The reverse depicts a traditional Polynesian Tiki figure and is inscribed with 10g .999 FINE SILVER. The item bears the circular CHI assay mark above the words ESSAYEUR FONDEUR.

The bar is in circulated bullion condition. There is evidence of handling, including light surface scratches and significant dark toning and oxidisation visible around the periphery of the obverse and in patches on the reverse. No serial number is present.
