A vintage Smiths Empire open-faced pocket watch manufactured in Great Britain. The chrome-plated base metal case contains a manual wind movement. The aged cream-coloured dial is set with black Arabic numeral hour markers and an outer minute track interspersed with luminous triangular and square markers. A subsidiary seconds dial is located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is marked Smiths Empire below the 12 o’clock position and Made in Gt Britain at the bottom edge. The watch features centrally mounted hands with luminous infill. It is attached to a black leather strap with a silver-tone metal T-bar.

Condition report:
The watch shows significant wear and age. The acrylic crystal is heavily crazed with numerous surface scratches affecting visibility across the entire surface. The dial shows discolouration and spotting. The luminous material on the hands and markers has darkened. There is noticeable wear and scratching to the chrome plating on the case and crown. The leather strap is aged and shows wear. The mechanical movement is untested and timekeeping accuracy is not guaranteed.
