A Scottsdale Mint Lion silver round containing 1/2 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features a central 1/2 fraction positioned above the word OUNCE, set against a radial sunburst background and bordered by small stars. The outer edge is inscribed SCOTTSDALE MINT at the top and ONE HALF OF A TROY OUNCE 999 FINE SILVER along the bottom curve. The reverse displays the mint hallmark, a crowned lion head, centred within a radial pattern and a textured border. The piece is finished with a reeded edge.
