The collection features two commemorative First Day Covers (FDCs) honouring Diana, Princess of Wales (1961–1997), each bearing a 26p portrait stamp. The covers are cancelled with circular date stamps from Royal Mail London SW and Royal Mail Cardiff, dated 6 September 1997. These covers feature cachets depicting the Princess on overseas visits to India (1992) and Nepal (1993), alongside the Mercury logo and the printed quote My life is going to be a great challenge. The lot includes a Certificate of Entitlement from The Westminster Collection for The Edward & Sophie Royal Wedding Stamp Collection, numbered 1998.
