A collection of Isle of Man First Day Covers presented in two ring-bound albums, one green and one red. The collection spans the period 1973 to 1986 as indicated by the spine labels. The covers are philatelic first day issues featuring official cachets and circular date stamp cancellations from the Isle of Man Post Office Authority. Visible contents include the 1978 Europa architectural issue, a Definitive New Values issue, the 1985 Christmas issue, and the 1986 Manx Museum Centenary issue. The stamps are perforated and cancellations are generally well-struck. The covers are housed within clear plastic sleeves inside multi-ring binders.
Condition report:
The albums and covers appear to be in good overall condition. The ring-bound binders show minor shelf wear consistent with age. The first day covers are well-preserved within plastic sleeves with clear cancellations and no visible foxing, heavy toning, or edge wear to the visible envelopes.
