A 2014 United Kingdom £20 fine silver commemorative coin titled Outbreak, issued by The Royal Mint in partnership with the Imperial War Museums. This coin marks the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, depicts Britannia with a trident and shield watching over a fleet of naval ships, inscribed THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914 1918 2014. The coin is struck in 999 fine silver with a brilliant uncirculated finish. It is housed in the original Royal Mint presentation card and remains sealed within a clear plastic sleeve.
