The front face is struck with five distinct marks including the maker’s mark JP, the leopard’s head for the London Assay Office, the lion passant standard mark for sterling silver, the date letter C for 1977, and the commemorative profile of Queen Elizabeth II. The pendant is suspended from a simple tapered bail.
