A collection of UK bronze farthing coins presented in a blue textured folding album titled GREAT BRITAIN FARTHINGS. The album, marked with the reference 8001, contains a sequence of coins spanning the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. The collection includes issues featuring the seated Britannia reverse and the wren reverse. Visible dates include examples from 1941 through to 1955. The coins are struck in bronze.
Condition report:
The coins range in condition from good to uncirculated. Earlier examples display significant circulation wear, loss of detail, and dark toning. Several of the later dates from the 1950s appear to retain varying degrees of original mint lustre with light surface marks. The blue folder exhibits minor wear and scuffing to the edges and corners.
